Westport police raid local smoke shop, seize many THC products; shop not licensed for cannabis sales

WESTPORT — Police executed a search warrant at a local smoke shop Tuesday and said they found a significant number of illegal THC products.

The store, the Savvy Smoker on Post Road East, does not hold a cannabis dispensary, hybrid retailer, retailer or delivery service license from the state Department of Consumer Protection, Lt. Jillian Cabana said in a statement Wednesday.
